Three quantities on one label

The classes are measured by one and the same method, so two tyres can be compared through them directly. Pattern, name and price give no such comparison.
Where the classes come from
The classes come from the Commission's EPREL register, by the tyre's registration number. We do not trust a supplier's table here: the register is where the maker is obliged to enter a tyre before placing it on the market.
The product page opens the register's own label and product information sheet. Showing the label in distance selling is required by Regulation (EU) 2020/740, which entered into force on 1 May 2021 and replaced the earlier Regulation 1222/2009.
